French and Celtic Programs

Traveler's Dream offers concerts of strictly French and/or Celtic music for concerts, festivals, and special events.  

Celtic Concerts -  With a wide repertoire of songs and tunes from Ireland, Scotland, and England, Traveler's Dream has appeared at a variety of Celtic and International events.  Spirited tunes are played on the Irish flute and penny whistle, guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki. Guest fiddler Deb Shebish frequently accompanies Traveler's Dream for Celtic events.

French Concerts - The songs and tunes included in our repertoire are representative of the traditional music of France, French-Canada, and areas of French settlement in the United States, particularly the Great Lakes region.  These songs are truly "folk songs" in the sense that they have stayed alive in the oral traditions of French speakers in many countries for over two hundred years.
